Segs are small metal tacks that are hammered to your soles at the toe. They increase the longevity of your shoes as the metal tack absorbs the impact of wear, and is more hardwearing than leather.

Dependencies and Risks

Worn soles? If your soles are beginning to wear away, you may need a toe piece or a half resole before getting segs.

Alternative protection? Protective soles are an alternative pre-wear measure that will help increase the longevity of your shoes.
